Combining art, science and technology in embodied experiences

Noor Stenfert Kroese is currently studying at Kunstuniversität Linz, MA Interface Cultures after completing her BA Scenography at the Amsterdam University of Arts. Her work originates in the interaction between space, time and human activity which is inspired by scientific and technological developments.

She works across various media such as video, light, installations, theatre, performance and new media art.
She seeks for disruptions in the time and space continuum in order to constitute the amalgamation of digital and physical space in embodied experiences. Also spatial, auditory and occasionally the olfactory and tactile experiences are used in her work to create controlled active perceptions. Looking for the intertwinement between her work, the visitor and the possible performer(s), in which new and existing ideas and structures can transform. Finding ways to make your subconscious perceptible in the conscious world.
